In the IS team, you will have 16 new colleagues, eleven of us are in Lidköping, one in Jönköping, and the others in various locations in Norway. We are a cheerful group working on both large and small projects to support our core operations in both Sweden and Norway. The department includes developers, support technicians, and Business Analysts. The need for support to the operations is increasing as new systems are implemented, and we therefore want to expand our team with a support technician.

What you will do with us

As an IT Support Technician, you will primarily work with user support for our lab data systems and thus have daily contact with our employees in the labs to help and support them in the best way possible. If needed, you will also assist our users with support for printers, computers, etc. Your tasks will also include internal testing of updates in our various systems. Travel to our labs in Sweden and Norway may occur in this position.

Who are you applying?

To fit into the role, we see that you:

• Have experience in technical support or a similar role, preferably within IT
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Hold a B driver's license

As a person, you have a positive attitude, enjoy helping others, and are not afraid to ask questions. You are a problem solver willing to learn new systems and have strong communication skills, as well as the ability to explain technical solutions clearly.

It is also advantageous if you:

• Have some programming experience or a genuine interest in programming
• Are technically inclined and have experience in installing/managing computers and software
• Preferably have experience in testing and troubleshooting IT systems
