Svedjebacka is a dementia care facility with 48 apartments beautifully located by Svartbyträsket. The building has 2 floors with three departments on each floor. The departments have a combined living/dining room and reception kitchen, as well as large terraces/balconies. In the basement, there is a gathering hall where our joint activities and entertainment are arranged. Svedjebacka was built in 1963, and extensive renovation and expansion were done in 1993-94 and 2022. With us, one should be able to live as normal a life as possible and receive help around the clock with what one cannot manage on their own.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of Specialist Nursing Assistant, you will include:

• Working side by side with the nursing staff based on the purpose of good care and increased quality for our users at ÄBO.
• Responsible for guiding staff in various user situations.
• Time for administration allocated during the week.
• Responsible for providing support to the contact person as needed, e.g., support in certain relative conversations.
• Responsible for ensuring that reporting routines are followed.
• BPSD administrator collaborates with other administrators, responsible for providing support during BPSD registration, planning, action plans, response plans, and following up to ensure that plans work and are followed.
• Senior alert, responsible for providing support to the care prevention representatives in their role, working based on risk thinking and preventive approaches at ÄBO.
• Palliative register, responsible for providing support to staff participating in registration and based on quality indicators as needed. Works for good palliative care at ÄBO.

In the role of Nursing Assistant, Care Assistant, Aspirant, you will perform regular tasks within care & support.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is already a Specialist Nursing Assistant or a nursing assistant who wants to train to become a Specialist Nursing Assistant. The training to become a Specialist Nursing Assistant will take place during working hours.

We are looking for someone who has completed the care and nursing program or care assistant training or has an interest in working with people. We provide internal training, but it is an advantage if you have experience working in care and support and are comfortable documenting and using various systems needed for the job.

You should master the Swedish language in speech, writing, and reading comprehension, as it involves contact with users, relatives, documentation, and reading information relevant to the work.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge and experience in medication management and have had medication delegation.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Start date: 2025-05-15 or by agreement
