About the position

As an operations technician at Norrenergi's production department, you ensure that the heart of our operations functions – namely, the production of district heating and cooling. You have varied tasks and great opportunities to develop your skills. When it's cold outside, our production is in full swing to ensure heat can flow into the cities at all hours of the day. Therefore, you will work three shifts during this period. In the second half of the year, when the outdoor temperature is warmer, you will work during the day instead. A combination that is highly appreciated!

As an operations technician at Norrenergi, you have a broad role where you learn everything about the facility and heat production through a competency-based training program. During the summer, you will also work with cooling production and have the great opportunity to operate cooling systems. Once you have reached a high level of competence, we will further develop you towards project management, control systems, or wherever your strengths lie. Your interest and drive will guide your development with us.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a technical post-secondary education such as operations, marine engineering, or operations technician training
• Has previous relevant work experience.
• Has a strong drive and wants to develop both the business and your own skills.
• Has a B driver's license.
• Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

If you have worked in the district heating industry before, it is an advantage.
