Ward 350 is a surgical upper gastrointestinal ward with both acute and planned surgery.

Our acute patients primarily have benign surgical diseases of the gallbladder/bile ducts, pancreas, or stomach. Our elective patients are cared for in a specific group where you, as a nurse, work with high inflow and outflow. We also have patients who have been treated with minimally invasive surgery and patients with colorectal disease conditions. We work person-centered and in teams of nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors together.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in surgery and/or emergency care, but this is not a requirement.

You enjoy working in a team, are flexible, and confident in yourself. You have the ability to handle complex situations and possess good communication skills. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will be part of the Clinical Foundation Year, which is our introductory program. The Clinical Foundation Year is mandatory and lasts for the first year of your employment with us. It includes lectures, nursing supervision, and practical training of your profession at the Simulation Center. In addition, it also includes service in at least two different departments to broaden your competence.

In the event of recruitment of nurses/doctors with foreign licenses/specialist certificates, the relevant position will be preceded by a process to meet the requirements for Swedish licenses/specialist certificates.
