About the Position

The specialist dental care is represented throughout the Västra Götaland region mainly at five specialist clinics that offer specialist dental care in all specialties and hospital dentistry.

In addition, Folktandvården conducts extensive ST training. In collaboration with the Department of Odontology at Sahlgrenska Academy, we invest in the future of dentistry by conducting patient-centered research.

The training location is regional and the education will be partially held at the Special Clinic for Orthodontics, Odontologen, Gothenburg, and partially at the Specialist Clinic for Orthodontics in Alingsås. The training will be conducted in accordance with the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations (HSLF-FS 2017:77) for dentists' specialization training and will cover at least three years full-time.

Qualifications

Dental license issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare and at least two years of full-time general practice, including both pediatric and adult dentistry. You have a goal-oriented interest in the specialty, social competence, and good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as clinical maturity and capacity. Qualifications will be assessed according to current guidelines. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, which for us means that you have a structured working method, good collaboration and communication skills, and are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks.
