Are you a caregiver who wants to work closely with patients and have time for conversations with them? Then the addiction ward 367 is for you!

The Addiction Service caters to individuals with substance use disorders with or without concurrent psychiatric issues. We are organized in care chains with outpatient and inpatient care in close collaboration around the patients. In our inpatient ward 367, we work in teams that include nurses, doctors, caregivers, social workers, pharmacists, and medical secretaries. Patients come to us for withdrawal treatment, addiction care, and treatment of various psychiatric diagnoses such as psychosis, depression, anxiety, manic episodes, or crisis reactions. We provide inpatient care for patients aged 18 and older. As a caregiver, you will meet patients with diverse backgrounds, issues, and needs. This means you will have the opportunity to be creative and, in dialogue with your team colleagues, tailor the care for each patient. We believe it is important to see the healthy aspects of the patient.

About the job

We offer you as a new employee interesting workshops and supervision in addiction care and psychiatry. We have good development opportunities with an enhanced professional introduction. Additionally, we have a regional training model in psychiatry which is an advanced course for caregivers.

About you

As a caregiver with us, you will work in a group with active case management. You will have greater responsibility for a number of patients. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the personal care of the patients.

We collaborate with our outpatient clinics and social services in municipalities and districts. This collaboration is a significant part of the work, which requires an interest and willingness to learn new knowledge.

We believe that you who start with us enjoy the fast-paced nature of the workday, which can shift quickly from calm to busy. Most importantly, you are curious about psychiatry or already know that you enjoy it. You thrive with patients who have shorter care durations and have a genuine interest in the ward's target group. You are stable and secure in yourself and have the courage to approach people and build trust. You can remain calm even in emotionally challenging situations. You are good at collaborating, creating, and nurturing relationships with both patients, colleagues, and other caregivers.
