Sales Manager for Flex Services at Jönköping Energi
Do you love visiting customers and creating good business? Do you want to be part of developing the future's offerings in energy optimization? Then you might be the person we are looking for for a newly established position as Sales Manager for Flex Services at Jönköping Energi.
Exciting things are happening in the industry. The energy transition is in full swing while the world is changing at an ever-increasing pace - this creates new opportunities. As part of the transition to future energy systems, Jönköping Energi is launching Flex Services - first out are Industriflex and Batteriflex. We are now taking the next step and looking for someone who wants to take responsibility and drive this new and exciting area.
The Role
As the Sales Manager for Flex Services at Jönköping Energi, you will be responsible for building and further developing Flex Services for industrial customers in the Swedish market.
Examples of Responsibilities:
- Map the market and conduct advisory customer visits to potential customers.
- Drive the development of tailored flex services based on the current and future needs of the market.
- Establish new customers, businesses, and projects within flex services.
- Participate in trade fairs and networking events, develop marketing and communication.
Sales are complex and exciting in many ways - from the first contact to building trust in Jönköping Energi as the obvious partner and advisor in the customer's energy transition. Through a genuine interest and good understanding of customers' operations, as well as a close and advisory approach in the sales work, you will develop the optimal solution based on each customer's unique needs. The goal is to establish long-term rewarding and sustainable collaborations for all parties.
You will be part of the Customer Relations and Sales area and will be strongly supported by a selected team of colleagues from business development, KAM, energy consultants, etc. You will have a high presence with our customers and participate in some joint meetings every week at Jönköping Energi's headquarters. You will have budget and result responsibility and report to a unit manager within the business area.
Qualifications
An important success factor with the challenges the business faces is the ability to change and find new ways. We believe you have several years of experience in more complex sales within the electricity or manufacturing industry with documented good results. You work independently with the entire chain from market planning to first contact with and development of customers, business solutions, products/services, contracts, etc. Experience in energy trading is an advantage but not a requirement.
You are engaged, structured, and persistent in the sales processes and have an easy time understanding and addressing customers' needs and translating them into solutions. To succeed in this role, a technical and economic understanding, as well as good negotiation and communication skills in both spoken and written form, are required. We place great importance on your personal qualities and suitability, such as being a stable person with strong drive and the ability to create satisfied customers and profitable business.
