We are now looking for an experienced nursing assistant for employment in one of our inpatient care departments at the hospital, for a night shift with a weekly working time of 32:20.

We receive patients around the clock from the emergency department, via health centers, ambulances, and from other care departments.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who has previously worked as a nursing assistant in an acute hospital - preferably at night - and feels very secure in their professional role and enjoys working both independently and in a team. The tasks include nursing care, medical checks, catheter and stoma care, various sampling such as ECG, venipuncture, and more.

In our inpatient care departments, wards 32 and 37, patients with significant needs for both nursing care and medical interventions are cared for. As night staff, you will work in both departments depending on the needs.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Nursing assistant with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare. At least five years of experience working as a nursing assistant in an acute hospital, for example in a ward and/or emergency department. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

You need to have a genuine interest in nursing and very good skills in venipuncture, catheter placement, ECG, wound care, drainage management, stoma care, and similar.
