About the position

The tasks include, among other things, cash register, serving, handling the espresso machine, and preparing simple dishes.

Your skills, experience, and background

We prefer that you have worked as a café assistant before, but some form of cash handling/service/barista experience is required.

You should have very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form and very good spoken English; other languages are considered an asset. To thrive, you need to appreciate working in an organization that is still under development, where not all solutions are in place and where you have the opportunity to contribute.

Your qualities

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities. You are passionate about service and customer interaction and have the ability to put our visitors first. You should have a strong drive to develop the business and the collaboration with the museum. You show great commitment and are eager to take your own initiatives to solve issues that arise. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of making people feel welcome. You, together with the other employees, are the museum's face to the public, and your interaction is crucial for the museum visitor's experience.

To succeed in the role, you should be:

Outgoing: You are welcoming and have an easy time establishing contact with people of different ages and backgrounds. You are communicative, curious, and comfortable in front of groups.

Responsible: You are organized but also attentive to what the situation requires and can prioritize your work even under high visitor pressure.

Team-oriented: You enjoy collaborating and contributing to the entire group's work.

Employment

Part-time as needed. Working hours include days, evenings, and weekends. The peak season is during June, July, and August.
