Job Responsibilities

As a sports facility worker, you will be involved in the daily operations, maintenance, and upkeep of several of Järfälla's sports facilities and outdoor environments. Your work will be varied and exciting, with both indoor and outdoor activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operation and maintenance of ice rinks, athletics facilities, and artificial turf fields
• Maintenance of football fields and sports halls
• Lawn mowing, snow removal, and grandstand cleaning
• Ice care and maintenance of ski and exercise trails
• Supervision, opening, and closing of our facilities
• Local service tasks, such as cleaning and supervision of machines and equipment
• Occasionally physically challenging tasks and varying working hours (day, evening, weekend)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have a high school education in facility management, service, or maintenance, or equivalent experience
• Have practical experience in the operation and maintenance of sports facilities and outdoor environments
• Have basic computer skills (to handle fault reports and orders)
• Experience working with machines such as wheel loaders, ice machines, etc. (meritorious)
• Experience with snow groomers and trail maintenance (meritorious)
• Enjoy working both independently and in a team
• Service-oriented, attentive, and have a professional demeanor
• Flexible and able to adapt to different people and tasks
• Have a B driver's license and access to a car, preferably BE
