Investigator in Network, Rainfall, and Hydrological Modeling

About the Position
As an Investigator in network, rainfall, and hydrological modeling at Tyréns, you will work within our business area Land & Water and the competence area Water. To find more information about what we do in this competence area click here (#).
In this role, you will work with:
- Establishing and/or developing hydraulic and hydrological models
- Establishing and/or developing rainfall models
- Calibrating hydraulic models
- Handling capacity investigations and action investigations for networks, rainfall, and/or watercourses
- Performing GIS analyses
- Data processing/data analysis
- Preparing reports and presenting results
You will be part of a department called “Stormwater and Modeling”. The department conducts model investigations within water networks, wastewater networks, stormwater networks, rainfall, and watercourses, as well as stormwater investigations and field measurements in water, wastewater, and stormwater networks. Our customers are primarily municipalities, municipal water companies, government agencies, and developers. We carry out everything from smaller assignments with only one or a few people within the department to large assignments that involve technical areas and competencies across Tyréns. This means that we also work together with colleagues in other offices and regions.

We Are Looking For
To succeed and thrive in this role, we believe you should have:
- Relevant education in the form of a master's degree or similar with a focus on hydrology and hydraulics
- Experience in hydraulic and hydrological modeling
- Experience with GIS software
Desirable is experience/knowledge in:
- Experience with software such as Mike+ or HEC-RAS
- Work experience in community building
- Good communication skills
