Working as a Test Engineer within the Automotive Industry

For this position, we are seeking someone with a focus on mechanical testing and experience with measuring parameters like airflow, pressure, and temperature. The role involves working in a component testing cell, primarily testing engine components. A significant part of the job is planning and reporting.

In the role as Test Engineer, you will work together with the test cell operator to measure data from flow components (turbo, valves, catalysts, heat exchangers, etc.), where the main target is to conduct reliable test data. Besides this, it is very important to understand how the hardware setup affects the results from the test.

You will be responsible for planning and preparing the tests, ensuring quality during testing, analyzing, validating, and documenting the results. Alongside performing tests, an important part is to be a team player contributing to our supportive culture and driving the team forward.

This position is located in Malmö.

After successful completion of the consulting assignment, the intention is that you will be offered employment with the customer.

Desired qualifications:

• Are at the start of your career and hold a master's degree in mechanical engineering
• Have an interest in CFD
• As a person, you are social and like to work with documentation
• You have a genuine interest in development work as well as finding joy in sharing and collaborating with your colleagues
• Good knowledge of vehicles and measurement
• Have good knowledge of English, both verbal and written
