Vittra Gerdsken is hiring a teacher for middle school

Vittra Schools, one of Sweden's leading independent school companies with 24 preschools and primary schools across the country. Are you a qualified teacher with authorization for grades 4-6 who is driven to create meaningful learning for young people? We currently have a vacancy for a substitute teacher in middle school. We are looking for a teacher who is experienced in teaching and enjoys developing learning together with other teachers.

By Lake Gerdsken in Alingsås lies Vittra Gerdsken. The school is located in a beautiful green area where there is an opportunity to visit both forests and several nice walking paths. The school is housed in an older building that was once a factory but has now been renovated to suit educational activities. We are also fortunate to have both preschool and primary school in the same premises, allowing children to start in preschool and continue all the way to grade 9. We work to create Alingsås' healthiest preschool and primary school and strongly believe in working together for higher goal achievement.

Learning and development are the guiding principles for all planned activities, and we systematically work to follow up on the quality of everything we do. Therefore, we meet in regular collegial discussions to discuss teaching. The students are our most important partners and are constantly present in our development work. This means that it is always us teachers who are responsible for both the teaching and the pedagogical relationship, but everything we do is done in collaboration with the students.

We have high expectations of ourselves and our joint work based on collegial learning and the individual needs of the children. Together, we build a safe and challenging environment where everyone can develop, both children and adults.
