Waiter/Waitress, Restaurant Operations at Läckö Castle

Seize the opportunity to work at Sweden's most beautiful workplace, where meals, cultural heritage, and stunning nature are always present. Our restaurant is located in Naturum Vänerskärgården - the Victoria House, completed in 2013. The building is a symbolic gift to Crown Princess Victoria on her 30th birthday and houses a restaurant kitchen, dining room, InfoPoint/reception, 15 guest rooms, and an exhibition in Naturum Vänerskärgården. Our dining operations draw inspiration from the surrounding environment. The classic kitchen, fine local ingredients, and the unique Castle Garden create a common thread where the historic Läckö Castle serves as inspiration and stage for our dining experiences.

From spring 2025, we will open our operations independently as the Läckö Castle Foundation integrates the various activities into a holistic experience for our visitors. We look forward to developing our destination, and our meal hosts are an important part of this journey forward!

Job Description

As a seasonal waiter/waitress, you are our face to the public in our restaurant operations. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and excellent service. You have the ability to work independently, but also a strong sense of responsibility in working with your colleagues. You should have a high service mindset and a genuine interest in our historical destination - we value your ability to create good interactions between staff and visiting guests.

In your role welcoming guests, you are the link between the kitchen and dining room, and your understanding of the importance of hospitality is significant. You work seamlessly in our environments and perform standard tasks as well as aspects of dining craftsmanship excellently. You find it easy to collaborate in an active restaurant team that is passionate about development and quality. Your knowledge of food and beverage combinations is an asset for the position, as is your social ability.

The position includes cash handling and the design of certain administrative tasks such as menu writing and marketing.

Good language skills in English are an advantage; applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold a driver's license.

Scope: 75%-100%

Employment Type: Seasonal Employment

Location: Läckö, Lidköping

Start Date: May 1, 2025, by agreement.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting.
