On behalf of a client, we are now looking for senior Scala developers. Our client is an international company in technology, design, and consulting. The company helps its clients develop in sustainability and digitalization. Our client is ranked as one of Sweden's most popular employers among engineers.

You will work in pleasant offices in central Malmö.

Responsibilities in the role:

· Build Spark and Hadoop-based systems that drive data flow in various functions

· Design algorithms to match, compile, and identify anomalies as well as to optimize the systems

· Identify, suggest improvements, and automate parts of existing processes

· Identify requirements for new features and propose solutions and designs

You have:

· Up to 4 years of experience with Scala

· Strong programming and design skills

· Experience with distributed systems and professional experience with Spark

· Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Preferred:

· Kafka

· Design and implementation of APIs and REST

· One or more application frameworks such as Akka, Play (Scala), or Spring

· Big data ETL and data streaming

· NoSQL databases

· Experience with automation
