We are looking for an experienced and competent Senior Backend Developer for a long-term assignment, where you will play a central role in contributing to the bank's technological transition and the development of future solutions. The assignment starts immediately, and we are evaluating candidates continuously.

About the assignment

In this role, you will work with system solutions for file management services for corporate clients, where the systems need to be available around the clock. You will be responsible for both maintenance and new development and work together with a full-stack team in the areas of transaction banking and corporate file services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services for business-critical functions such as file management and transaction systems.
• Contribute to the technological transition and create sustainable solutions for the bank's operations.
• Ensure that the technical solutions are scalable, reliable, and meet security requirements.
• Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet both business needs and technical requirements.
• Actively participate in improving processes and finding new technical solutions for the bank's systems.

Competence requirements:

• Several years of experience as a backend developer with deep expertise in Java.
• Experience in handling transactions and working with file management, preferably within ISO format.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of database management, preferably experience with DB2 or Postgres.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• A structured and organized work method, with a good ability to follow processes and meet deadlines.
• A solution-oriented and analytical mindset that allows you to make decisions and solve problems effectively.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with others and contribute your experience to achieve common goals.

Preferred experiences:

• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or Maven.
• Experience working in mainframe environments (z/OS).
• Knowledge of test automation.
• IT/technical education or equivalent experience from the workforce.
