The tool shop at KB Components in Gislaved performs preventive maintenance, modifications, and repairs of molds for the internal organization.

As a toolmaker at KB Components Placell, you will be part of a team that collaboratively solves daily problems. The work areas include repair and maintenance of existing tools as well as modifications and additions to the tools. You are also part of the factory's ongoing development and planning for new projects.

We are looking for someone with a strong interest and knowledge of molds, their design, and construction. Experience from previous work in injection molding is an advantage.

Knowledge of the MS Office suite is a necessity for the position.

We use Solidworks and Mastercam and work with 3-axis CNC-controlled machines, so experience with these systems is considered an advantage.
To repair our molds, we use our own laser welding equipment.
