JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a senior physician, you will have a varied job with a wide range of gastroenterological issues in both outpatient and inpatient care. Your work includes driving and developing the medical care for the patient group you are responsible for, such as new findings, updating care programs, etc. You will also have an important mentoring role for younger colleagues as a department physician, ST supervisor, and for the outpatient work of ST physicians. The position includes on-call work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Specialist physician in pediatric and adolescent medicine with a focus on pediatric and adolescent gastroenterology, including the competence to perform gastroscopies on children and adolescents. Backup competence with work as an independent backup during weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Neo-competence to care for children born from gestational week 28.

You have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and recognize and reward the contributions of others.

• Certificate of medical degree from the institution(s) where the physician completed their basic education. This also applies to physicians trained in other EU countries and in countries outside the EU.
• License certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Specialist competence certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Certificate/documentation of teaching experience and possibly other pedagogical merits.
• If applicable, a certificate of academic degree, such as Doctor of Medicine or docent, as well as the date of disputation and title of the dissertation.
• Documented supervisor training
• If applicable, a fully updated publication list.
• Possibly further documented merits regarding clinical knowledge/experience, clinical development work, leadership experience, and anything else the applicant wishes to highlight as meritorious for the applied position.

Verification of medical license and specialist certificate will be conducted via IVO and HOSP.
