System Integrator at Region Skåne

Do you have a genuine interest in information technology and want to help build sustainable dependencies in our extensive system landscape? Are you motivated to make the organization more data-driven in a mission-critical role? Then you might be our next system integrator!

Region Skåne has a comprehensive regional service platform that is being transformed with the help of modern tools in a larger project to support an increasingly data-driven operation. We are building many different types of services such as integrations, general services, web services, API interfaces with SOAP and REST, message queues, and connections to national services, including Inera.

As a system integrator, you will belong to a unit with regional responsibility for integration and information. You will work on implementing system integrations between our internal systems and external connections to expand our platform. In your role, you will actively participate in modernizing our platform with new tools to offer a broader range of services. We operate from our offices at Medicon Village in Lund, although remote work has become a natural part of our everyday life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of system integrator, your tasks will include:

  • Designing and implementing system integrations between our systems
  • Development of .NET applications
  • Collaborating with system owners, system developers, architects, suppliers, and other relevant roles
  • Documentation of integrations
  • Optimizing data flows and transformations

We are on a journey of change, and your tasks will evolve over time. In other words, there are great opportunities to be involved and influence your own work.

We are looking for someone who has a strong combination of specialist skills and personal qualities that make you an experienced system integrator. Therefore, we consider the following qualifications as requirements:

  • Approximately 5 years of experience working with system integrations
  • A relevant post-secondary education, or other training or experience that we deem equivalent
  • Good knowledge of Swedish
  • Experience with BizTalk and Windows server environments
  • Strong skills in .NET and C# development as well as web services
  • Good ability to describe and document solutions
  • Experience with RabbitMQ

The following qualifications are considered advantageous:

  • Experience with HL7 for BizTalk/HL7 Accelerator for BizTalk (BTHLA7)
  • Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL programming
  • Experience working with agile methods
  • Good understanding of performance issues and opportunities for performance optimization
  • Experience in healthcare
  • Relevant certifications

You have a strong interest in system integration and want to continuously develop. As a person, you are a team player with good communication and collaboration skills. You are unpretentious in your approach, with a focus on both the team's and the organization's best interests. Additionally, you are good at listening to the needs of your stakeholders, which makes it easy for you to understand the region's operations and needs. Your working style is flexible and solution-oriented. You start from existing conditions, have a clear focus on delivery, and the ability to drive and manage multiple activities simultaneously. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

In this recruitment, we apply ongoing selection. We warmly welcome your application and look forward to getting to know you!
