Investigations, analyses, and customer contact

As a claims investigator, you are a state employee tasked with ensuring that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. When you work with care allowances, you will have contact with parents who have children in need of special care due to illness or disability. In your work with additional cost compensation, you will contact individuals who may need help with extra costs for daily living due to disability. In your work, you make assessments through qualified investigations and analyses of documentation, primarily medical statements. You then present proposals for decisions that are made by specially appointed decision-makers. Contact with individuals occurs via phone and in writing. You gather information and collaborate with, among others, healthcare and the municipality. As a claims investigator, you handle confidential information, which places higher demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

  • has a university degree or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
  • is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals

  • can understand and analyze complex issues
  • has good communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • is proficient in using a computer as a working tool.

  • have worked with investigations and made decisions that have affected individuals
  • have good knowledge of how to professionally meet people in different life situations
  • have knowledge of different types of disabilities
  • have experience working with customer meetings via phone
  • have worked with financial calculations
  • have worked in a goal-oriented organization.

A number of positions, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable.
