Försvarshälsan is an integrated occupational health service with the Swedish Armed Forces as its client. Försvarshälsan differs from commonly available occupational health services by also providing health care for students and conscripts, as well as medical readiness during military exercises and operations. Försvarshälsan is part of the war organization.

Försvarshälsan Malmen is now looking to hire 1 full-time nurse.

Main Responsibilities:

• Aviation medicine and occupational health care in promotion, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
• Health care for students and conscripts.
• Medical readiness during military exercises and operations.
• Teaching and participating in development work is included in the duties.
• You will work in an organization with varied and independent work as well as in a team with other staff at Försvarshälsan.
• The team consists of nurses, physiotherapists/ergonomists, medical secretaries, occupational health engineers, doctors, and psychologists.
• Three hours of physical training per week are included in the position.

Qualifications:

• Licensed nurse with relevant specialist competence
• Five years of professional experience as a nurse
• Driving license B. Driving is part of the job.

Meritorious:

• Experience from occupational health services
• Experience from emergency care or work at a health center
• Experience of working in the Armed Forces
• Vaccination experience

Personal Qualities:

You have self-motivation, are customer-oriented, and enjoy working together with other professional categories to support the employer in health-promoting work. You should enjoy the role of educator and have a desire to develop internal and external collaboration. Flexibility and good cooperation skills are prerequisites for the position, as well as good physical condition.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The Swedish Armed Forces Helicopter Wing is a unit with both land and sea operational focus that can operate in missions in Sweden and internationally.

Helicopter support is requested by many, for example for personnel, material, or medical transport, command, reconnaissance, or surveillance missions. The Helicopter Wing often participates in missions and exercises with other units, as well as providing support to society in various crisis situations.

Operating throughout Sweden, the breadth of tasks, and the size of the wing with over 950 employees provide variation in work and opportunities for personal development.
