Welcome to Hagagården, a special accommodation for people with dementia. There are 31 permanent apartments. Our goal is for everyone who lives and works at Hagagården to thrive and feel safe. It is the tenant's need for care and support that forms the basis of how we work. Hagagården has been awarded a certificate from the Silviahemmet Foundation.

Responsibilities

The person-centered care is based on the individual, and our task is to prevent, interpret, and alleviate various symptoms that dementia can cause. The nursing assistant's work is based on the values of Silviahemmet. Activation is part of the nursing assistant's daily work. Your task is to provide good care and support to help tenants experience a meaningful everyday life. You plan the daily work and are expected to contribute to the development of the organization through your knowledge and experience. It also includes documenting in our operational systems, which requires good computer skills. The tasks include delegated health and medical care duties.

We work in a team that includes unit managers, nurses, dementia nurses, quality coordinators, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to see the whole picture around the individual.

You will be placed at Hagagården in Gislaveds municipality with resource shifts that can also be booked by Solbacka.

Your working hours include scheduled staff meetings, quality meetings, and reflection/supervision. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

Nursing program with at least passing grades in all subjects. You should be flexible, independent, have a good attitude, good work ability, and teamwork skills, as well as being loyal and working towards set goals. You should have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience in dementia care is desirable. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
B driver's license.
Experience is required.
Proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare must be submitted to the employer with the application.
