Karlskrona Rehabcenter is responsible for all rehabilitation within public primary care in Karlskrona, which includes 50,000 registered patients.

Our operations are currently located in two places, Lyckeby and the hospital. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care facility where teamwork and patient needs are at the center.

The workgroup is interdisciplinary and consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers who work in teams around patients with complex care needs. The unit is well-functioning and staffed with many experienced and competent employees who are passionate about developing care. Our business idea is based on high accessibility and good patient satisfaction, as well as taking a holistic perspective on the entire patient's health status and life situation. We see improvement work as a natural part of daily operations.

About the Job

We are looking for physiotherapists to join our operations. In primary care, you will meet patients of all ages with various types of illnesses and complaints.

The tasks mainly consist of independent patient work with individual assessments and treatments, complemented by group activities and teamwork. We have close collaboration across professional boundaries within the Rehabcenter and together with the professionals at the health centers. Common areas of work include postoperative conditions in orthopedics, osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal pain conditions, mental health, as well as counseling and appointment booking via callback. We also work with group treatments such as osteoarthritis school according to BOA, COPD school, stress management, basic body awareness, medical functional training, and stroke intensive training. We also conduct multimodal rehabilitation. Within the unit, there is access to ultrasound diagnostics.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. We welcome newly graduated colleagues who want to work in primary care.

You have a desire for development and improvement in the rehabilitation field as you, together with the unit's other colleagues, will help develop Karlskrona Rehabcenter towards a knowledge-driven operation where person-centered care is the focus. The work requires that you can work independently as well as in a group, and you have good collaboration and initiative skills.
