Region Blekinge's health centers are part of primary care.

Residents of Blekinge who become ill turn directly to the health centers for access to health care that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all cities of the county, in several smaller locations, and sometimes in homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care where teamwork and patient needs are at the center.

Our values are based on three guiding stars: engagement, collaboration, and quality.

The Olofström health center is part of Hälsoval and here we are about 25 employees in different professions working together to meet our more than 7100 registered patients. We also have a senior clinic in adjacent premises. We have specialist nurse clinics in diabetes, asthma/COPD/smoking cessation, and child health care. The health center is environmentally certified.

About the Job

We are looking for someone who wants to try working in western primary care this summer and be part of our wonderful team! Your tasks as a district nurse/nurse with us at the health center will include reception work, telephone advice, medical assessments, dressings, and triage. You will meet everyone from small children to our elderly citizens.

About You

We are looking for a licensed district nurse/nurse. If you have previously worked in primary care, it is an advantage. You have a genuine interest in helping people and work with the patient in focus. You are confident in your professional role and are a positive colleague who contributes to our good work environment. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills, initiative, and appreciate a fast-paced environment. Since we are keen to find a colleague who fits into our team, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability in this recruitment.

Some of our positions are security classified where the employee must undergo a security screening interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). Applicants who are being considered for employment must present an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record before employment.
