Coordinator at Network Center

About the Position

As a coordinator at the Network Center, you will work closely with three colleagues. The Network Center operates on behalf of all units within the Social Committee and is aimed at adults, youth, and families with children.

You will be responsible for planning, calling, and leading network meetings for clients and multiple stakeholders connected to the client. Meetings may often involve between 6-30 participants. Therefore, you will work to create and maintain contact with various community actors such as outpatient care, schools, probation services, child and adolescent psychiatry, police, employers, etc., to create valuable meetings. In this role, you will also be responsible for monitoring the area and we would like you to drive improvement and development work to continue developing the operations. Furthermore, you will also work on training new employees within individual and family care (IFO) in systemic thinking and network-building methods.

Examples of Responsibilities:

  • with the client's best interests in mind, plan, organize, and lead network meetings with clients and stakeholders
  • monitor the environment and drive improvement and development work in the operations
  • train in network and system theory
  • be part of the introduction for new employees within IFO
  • consult and support employees within IFO in network-building methods

About the Workplace

At the Network Center, you and your colleagues will meet citizens from all walks of life who need to gather people around them to talk about something important to them. In this, you as an employee will have a central role and significant importance in ensuring that the citizen receives the right support. Currently, the office is located at Ribbingsgatan where we have our office premises. Meeting rooms are available in Västhaga.

The Social Committee's Individual and Family Care is restructuring in preparation for upcoming changes in social services. The new organization is based on three areas with both authority and interventions. Preventive, children and youth, as well as young adults and adults. A priority in the operations is to ensure legal security, provide good service and accessibility to our service users, and that the methods we use are based on scientific evidence and proven experience.

Qualifications

To be suitable as a coordinator with us, it is important that you are secure and stable. You can adapt your behavior to the situation while being able to empathize with others' perspectives and maintain a professional approach. In the coordinator role, you will find yourself in various contexts and will also need to move around the municipality, which requires you to be prepared to act flexibly and mobile. You work well with others, relate to them smoothly, and you are also outgoing and socially active in professional contexts. You easily adapt to changing circumstances, see the bigger picture, and take into account the broader perspective. Furthermore, you can plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively, setting and adhering to deadlines. You have the ability to be self-driven, proactive, and initiative-taking. You are open to utilizing the group's knowledge and experiences. You communicate clearly, articulately, and engagingly in meetings for both large and small groups and are receptive to messages from others. You can manage and use adequate and necessary digital solutions for the operations, e.g., Outlook, Teams, and SEFOS.

Requirements:

  • degree in social work or another higher education degree of at least 180 credits deemed suitable by the employer
  • experience working within social services
  • experience coordinating larger meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • valid driver's license (manual transmission)

Desirable:

  • experience training groups
  • experience in network work
  • knowledge and/or experience in system theory and network work
  • experience working with MI (motivational interviewing)
  • completed and approved MI basic course
  • knowledge and experience in psychosocial change work at the family and individual level

Scope and Start Date

Employment type: permanent position

Employment rate: 100%

Working hours: daytime, some evening work may occur.

Start date: May 1, 2025, or by agreement
