Career Consultant for Rusta & Matcha

About the Position

Arcus is now looking for a driven and committed career consultant for the Rusta & Matcha service!

As a Career Consultant, you will meet daily with individuals who have been unemployed for an extended period and need your support to find their place in the job market again.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of career consultant, you should:

• Have a solution-oriented approach
• Be trustworthy and have the ability to build good relationships with both participants and employers.
• Have a strong sense of service and responsiveness that comes naturally to you, and be accustomed to having a lot of contact with other people.
• Be passionate about helping participants succeed in finding work or studies.
• Be able to apply Arcus' methods and working practices to create results and ensure compliance with agreements.

You will work with individuals both one-on-one and in groups through individual conversations, workshops, interview training, and company visits.

Business contacts are an important part of matching participants with jobs, which means we are looking for someone who can develop a network and has a strong ability to create and maintain business and client relationships.

Formal Qualifications

Option 1

Education: A university degree of at least 180 higher education credits.

Work Experience: At least 2 years of work experience equivalent to full-time. Part-time work may also be accepted if the total working time corresponds to full-time over two years.

Option 2

Education: At least 1 year of full-time studies at the post-secondary level with a passing grade.

Work Experience: At least 3 years of work experience equivalent to full-time in one or more of the following professions or tasks:

• Management with personnel responsibility
• Recruitment
• Transition work for job seekers
• Career and educational guidance
• Handling personnel issues (not just personnel administration)
• Work with labor market and employment issues
• Work with social and group psychology
• Career guidance

The position is commissioned by the Swedish Public Employment Service and is advertised in Örebro. Travel in the position occurs between various nearby locations.
