Do you want to play an active role in developing northern Sweden into a sustainable and competitive region? In the first half of the year, we at Energikontor Norr foresee a need for someone who is passionate about project management for externally funded projects. Therefore, we are already accepting expressions of interest from those who want to contribute to the energy transition and become part of the attractive energy sector!

Energikontor Norr supports municipalities in Norrbotten, public actors, and small and medium-sized enterprises in their strategic energy and climate work. We attract and manage EU-funded projects where we collaborate with municipalities, universities, companies, and other stakeholders for a more attractive, sustainable, and competitive Norrbotten.

The role of project manager

You will lead our project teams towards the projects' goals, timelines, deliverables, and budgets. You are administratively experienced and a doer who gets things done even when there are tight deadlines. We are looking for someone who is driven to work with the energy transition at local, regional, and international levels with companies and public administration. If you also enjoy developing and applying for new projects from the EU, Vinnova, the Energy Agency, etc., to drive the energy transition, that’s even better. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

To fit the role, we believe that you

  • Are passionate about project management
  • Have several years of experience as a project manager for externally funded projects, preferably in the energy field as well as EU projects and similar (the latter is not a requirement)
  • Are a driven doer who gets things done
  • Are structured, have a good grasp of project economics, follow-up, and organization as a natural part of your work, and are proficient in Excel
  • Are social and positive, unpretentious, a flexible team player, humble, and solution-oriented
  • Express yourself well in Swedish and English.

It is an advantage but not a requirement if you also

  • Have experience in creating new projects and writing project applications for entire projects or work packages, preferably EU projects, the Energy Agency, Formas, Vinnova, etc.
  • Have expertise in the energy and/or climate field
  • Are skilled at building networks and maintaining contacts among municipalities, other public actors, companies, locally, regionally, and internationally to create collaborations.
  • Have a higher education, preferably an engineering degree

We offer

  • A developing job and exciting projects in the attractive energy sector in Norrbotten and Europe, where we work for a better future
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work
  • Health benefits, wellness hours, and joint activities such as padel sessions and meditation sessions
  • Active well-being work, joint activities, social gatherings, and a good working environment in pleasant premises

Welcome with your expression of interest in the form of your CV and cover letter!

Please mark your expression of interest with “Project Manager” and email it to fredrik@energikontornorr.se

We will get back to you as soon as the formal recruitment process begins.
