Do you have several years of experience in Java development and want to work with advanced systems in the defense industry? We are currently looking for a Java developer for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in Luleå. You will play a key role in the development of command systems for AEW and 9LV and work in an agile environment.

Your future challenge
As a Java developer, you will work on the development of advanced systems within the defense industry. The assignment includes the development of back-end and/or front-end for command systems related to AEW and 9LV. The work takes place on-site at the client in Luleå, and you will collaborate with an experienced team in software development.
Are you the one we are looking for?
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in Java development who is comfortable in complex system environments. We believe you have:
- At least 3+ years of experience in Java development.
- Experience in a Linux-based environment.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
- Solid knowledge of Git and version control.
- Experience in agile software development (Scrum, Kanban).
- Good ability to collaborate in teams and communicate technical solutions.
Desirable competencies:
- Experience in the entire software development chain: design, development, testing, and deployment.
- A technical degree from a college/university in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of command systems within AEW and 9LV.
- Experience with DevOps methodology and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience transitioning from monolithic systems to microservices.
- Experience with security-classified work.
