Summer Substitute as Authority Administrator

The Authority Unit is now seeking a summer substitute, with opportunities to start working extra during the spring! You will work as an authority administrator, handling financial assistance and being part of a supportive workgroup that collaborates and supports each other.

Our focus is on a strong labor market perspective where the individual's own responsibility and resources are fundamental.

The Role of Authority Administrator with Us

As an authority administrator in the authority unit, you have broad delegation and make your own decisions that can significantly impact the applicant's life. You handle and investigate applications for maintenance support and other financial assistance, all according to the Social Services Act and guidelines established by the board.

Your assignment includes collaboration with other units within and outside the administration and with other authorities and organizations. You will be part of a workgroup where there is a possibility for substantial collegial support. Your responsibilities also include administrative tasks and documentation to achieve a legally secure operation, as well as on-call duties where you meet residents in need of urgent assistance.

Your Profile

You are meticulous and need to have a great ability to maintain good structure in the ongoing administrative work with application handling. You need to have the mindset that it is important for applicants to receive timely decisions and that the decisions are correct. You are communicative and have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish. As a person, you have the ability to provide residents and colleagues with a good reception in all situations. We want you to be curious about meeting residents regardless of target group. It is important to us that you want to contribute to our good collaboration. Personal suitability will be given great importance.

We are looking for someone who:

• has or is studying for a relevant higher education degree, such as social work, public administration, or law
• can understand and work according to the legislation applicable in the area and can formulate good decision-making documents with legislation at the center

It is advantageous if you have:

• experience working with maintenance support and/or authority exercise
• studied social law

In the Department of Gymnasium & Labor Market, we are about 500 employees. We consist of the Gymnasium and Competence Center operations. Through the department, residents are offered high school education, adult education, study and career guidance, establishment for newcomers to Sweden, or interventions for those in need of financial assistance and who need to enter work or studies. Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a full-time substitute position during the period of June 1 - August 31, 2025, or by agreement. There is also an opportunity for hourly work during the spring. You must be able to work at least during weeks 26-32.
