Rehabilitation Specialist Care at Central Hospital in Karlstad is a unit within the health and rehabilitation sector.

Within the unit, approximately 80 employees work in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and music and art therapy. Rehabilitation Specialist Care operates in several areas/specialties at the Central Hospital and within both specialized outpatient and inpatient care.

Within Rehabilitation Specialist Care, there are about 40 physiotherapists, which provides good opportunities for collegial exchange and knowledge transfer.

Your tasks

As a physiotherapist in our specialized outpatient care for oncology, you have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and meet patients who may be at different stages of their cancer rehabilitation. Close collaboration with other teams within cancer care is often necessary. In parts of your role, you will also work as a lymphatic therapist, and those who are not lymphatic therapists will be offered training. You will work closely with experienced colleagues in oncology and lymphatic therapy, as well as with physiotherapists in other specialized outpatient care.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist; if you have lymphatic therapist training, it is an advantage, but even if you do not have that competence, you are welcome to apply. We see that you are a calm and stable person with good empathetic ability who works well with others.
