Project Leader for Helicopter 14

We are looking for a project leader who wants to be part of driving our work within Helicopter 14 in the avionics and sensor area. With us, you will have the opportunity to use your skills where they truly make a difference. Together with an experienced team, you will help create solutions that leave an impact – both today and in the future.

About the Position

In your role as a project leader, you will support the responsible project manager by planning, leading, developing, and following up on the work carried out in small, knowledge-intensive project teams towards a defined goal. You will also be responsible for ensuring that milestones are achieved according to schedule, within budget, and with agreed quality.

With us, you will have the opportunity to work all the way from needs analysis to delivery and implementation. You will lead and participate in the execution of tasks during procurement assignments, which includes designing the overall requirements for technical systems and preparing documentation within technical design responsibility, including system safety. Furthermore, you will analyze, evaluate, and report on investigation proposals and provide recommendations for decisions. You will conduct technical system work, work on the integration of materials into platform systems, and participate in studies, development, and testing.

As a project leader, you will be responsible for contact with suppliers and other stakeholders, where you will negotiate and follow up on agreements. The role involves leading procurement work for small and large assignments both nationally and internationally in collaboration with the Armed Forces, NATO helicopter management agency, and suppliers. You will also contribute to business development and conduct environmental monitoring.

The position is based in Stockholm. Travel in the role may occur, both domestically and internationally.

About You

We are looking for someone who is educated as a civil or university engineer or has other relevant education for the field, or you have acquired equivalent competence in another way that we assess as comparable. You have current and relevant experience in avionics and flight sensors. You have very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English.

We prefer that you have experience leading projects and their members, as well as experience in planning, budgeting, and following up on projects using project planning tools. It is also advantageous if you have experience in public procurement, negotiations, and knowledge of LOU or LUFS, but this is not a requirement for the position. It is a plus if you have knowledge of FMV's or the Armed Forces' working methods. If you have knowledge of defense security, it is a merit; perhaps you have studied security issues, been involved in the Home Guard, worked in the defense industry, or have other knowledge that we consider equivalent. A driver's license (B) is an advantage.

Personal qualities are of great importance to us. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences and are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with others and is flexible in their working style. You work in a structured manner and have the ability to plan and prioritize your work. Your problem-solving analytical skills are strong; you analyze and break down problems into their components and solve complex issues. As a person, you are loyal and act in accordance with decisions made, the business plan, goals, policies, and guidelines.
