About the role

You are the spider in the web regarding the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. Regularly, you conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations.

Collaboration and support

You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life. In this, you work closely with the residence's team leaders who are responsible for the care staff. Our team leaders also coach and work together with the teams in daily operations.

Getting to know the residents

Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for accurate assessments and decisions.

Clear routines

To create safety and clarity for you as a nurse, there is extensive support in the form of practical and easily applicable routines, governing documents, and checklists. Our quality management system is called Qualimax and is industry-leading.

As a new nurse with us, you will participate in our digital introduction program together with your mentor to ensure that you receive a clear introduction with the goal of quickly getting into work and our routines.

About Villa Vårbacka

Villa Vårbacka, a nursing home beautifully located by Lake Mälaren in Vårby gård in Huddinge. With us, health is the theme and quality is at the center. This permeates everything from decor to food and activities.

The nursing home was built in 2013 and was updated based on the health theme in 2016. Elements of nature have moved into the indoor environment to create a calming atmosphere. Among other things, we have created a popular indoor garden for socializing, relaxation, and rest.

Villa Vårbacka offers accommodation for people affected by dementia as well as those with somatic (physical) illnesses. Additionally, we have nine short-term places for those who need temporary support that cannot be provided in their own home.

Your experience and knowledge

You are a licensed nurse, and we prefer that you have worked for a few years in elderly care. Our residents are often multi-sick, which requires you to have both comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
