Power System Specialist for Energy Transition

Do you want to contribute to the energy transition and help Sweden achieve its climate goals? We are currently looking for more engaged and curious power system specialists with expertise in control systems to support projects related to upcoming major investments in our client's network.

Our client is undergoing a historic transition with the goal of electrifying society. Part of this involves increasing investments in the electricity grid in the coming years. To succeed in this, they need more committed employees in local and regional networks. Now you have the chance to become one of their next power system engineers focusing on control systems and acting as a technical resource in their projects.

About the Position

As a power system specialist, you will encounter exciting and complex issues. The client is responsible for ensuring technical content in the planning and execution of facility investments and provides technical specialist competence. They work to develop practical solutions for technical challenges in operations, development, and facility construction.

Responsibilities

In the role of power system specialist, you will contribute specialist competence to the business and act as a technical resource in their projects. Responsibilities include, among others:

  • Ensuring the quality of new facilities and optimizing facility design.
  • Participating in bid evaluations regarding the station's technical functions.
  • Reviewing technical designs and checking configurations during factory tests.
  • Acting as the responsible representative during commissioning and ensuring that the facility meets technical requirements.
  • Collaborating with other departments within Facility Investments.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has an engineering degree in electrical power technology at the college or university level, or equivalent competence through work experience.
  • Has experience in electrical power issues and is familiar with the structure and function of the electricity grid, preferably with a focus on fault isolation and control equipment systems.
  • Is a team player with good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Is driven by curiosity to learn and a desire to use technology in the best way to contribute technically to projects.
  • Has a driver's license (class B) as travel to nearby projects may occur.
