We are looking for a coordinator to join us at LSS Slalomvägen Group Home, part of Unika, located in Enköping. Our focus is on adults within the LSS 9:9 group with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorders.
About the Role of Coordinator
In the role of coordinator, you will primarily work to provide support and service based on the residents' wishes and to give each individual a meaningful everyday life, based on a pedagogical approach. You will also handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, staffing, quality improvements, risk assessments, and documentation.
You will work closely with the operations manager and maintain close contact with the staff group. Your role will be central in supporting the daily operations of the facility. You will provide support and service both at home and in leisure activities, as well as develop the pedagogical support based on individual needs.
The position is 100% and the working hours will be scheduled on a rolling day/evening and weekend basis. Since the role of coordinator is combined, you will have some time allocated for your administrative tasks. This time will be adjusted based on needs.
Responsibilities:
As a coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Staffing
- Quality work
- Method work
- Planning
And also work with:
- Providing support and assistance in the daily lives of our clients
- Regular tasks included in housing support
Who are we looking for?
You preferably have experience from LSS, but otherwise, you have knowledge of pedagogical approaches and how to meet individuals with different disabilities. You are attentive and communicative, understanding that these are important tools for good and clear interactions with both residents and relatives. As a colleague, you actively contribute to a positive and forward-looking work environment. You naturally see opportunities instead of obstacles and have a very good ability to adapt to new situations. You can work both independently and in a team with your colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills, experience in documentation.
- Previous experience in leadership roles and a natural ability to lead and drive development issues.
- Experience and knowledge of the target group LSS adults group 1.
- High school education, such as child and youth programs, health and care programs, or post-secondary education, e.g., support pedagogue, social pedagogue, university education in pedagogy or social work.
- Experience in low-arousal approaches.
- Driver's license (B) is required.
- Knowledge and experience in method work.
- Experience working with implementation plans.
It is an advantage if you also have:
- Experience and competence in clear pedagogical methods, AAC, and low-arousal approaches.
- Experience working with individuals with complex psychosocial behavioral issues.

Employment Conditions:
Employment Type: Permanent position with a 6-month probationary period Working Hours: 100% Working Time: Rolling schedule, day, evening, and weekend. Longer shifts may occur. Start Date: By agreement, we look favorably on those who can start soon. Collective Agreement: We are bound by the collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
