Academic Resource is looking for a meticulous and dedicated Laboratory Engineer for the Quality Control (QC) team at our client, a Life Science company in Uppsala. If you have experience in laboratory quality work and an interest in working with quality control and analyses, this could be the right opportunity for you!

The position is a full-time employment and a consulting assignment until the end of the year, with a good chance of extension. Start immediately or as agreed.

Responsibilities:

As a laboratory engineer within QC, you will work on analyzing and quality controlling products from our production in Uppsala. Your tasks include:

• Performing analyses according to applicable instructions.

• Reporting, reviewing, and conducting analysis acceptance on products and assignment analyses.

• Initiating and driving investigations for deviating results and other discrepancies.

• Performing checks, calibrations, and maintenance of analytical instruments.

• Updating and approving work instructions, including control methods, standard methods, and calibration methods.

Qualifications:

• A suitable educational background, such as a bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or equivalent.

• Previous experience in laboratory quality work within QC operations, preferably in chromatography.

• Proficient skills in MS Office and good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

• Experience with Lean is a merit.
