Are you a technically skilled and solution-oriented person with an interest in electric vehicles and battery technology? YES-EU is now looking for dedicated Field Service Engineers to join its team in Gothenburg!

As a Field Service Engineer at YES-EU, you will work with the service and repair of batteries and electric buses in Sweden. Your tasks include troubleshooting and repairing CATL's battery cells, modules, packs, containers, and battery management systems. The assignments are communicated by the battery manufacturer through our office in Stockholm, and you are responsible for archiving all necessary documentation for each repair, which is used for warranty claims or invoicing.

When it comes to electric buses, you will diagnose problems based on customer information and your own observations. You are responsible for repairing the vehicles based on the diagnosed issues and the estimated repair costs. All service and repairs must be documented and archived carefully.

Your workplace will be throughout Sweden with a base in Gothenburg, and in some cases, you have the opportunity to work from home. We provide training, work clothes, a service vehicle, a phone, and a computer to help you perform your job in the best way possible.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience as a vehicle technician. Perhaps you have a background as a car mechanic and possess electrical knowledge, or you already have experience working with electric vehicles and want to develop further. A strong interest in modern technology, especially in electric vehicles and IT applications, is an advantage.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical specifications. You have a high drive, good collaboration skills, and a solution-oriented and creative approach to work with safety in focus. Excellent knowledge of Swedish is required, and you also need to have basic knowledge of English to understand courses and safety regulations.

If you already have a high-voltage training, it is an advantage, but if not, we offer complete training to enable you to perform the tasks required by the position. We prefer that you are skilled in IT, vehicle electrics, and mechanics, and that you have a strong interest in new technology and innovative solutions. A B driver's license is required, and if you have a bus license, it is an advantage.

YES-EU group, which includes Yutong Eurobus Scandinavia AB, is a complete supplier of electric buses and charging infrastructure with over 2000 sold electric buses in the Nordic region. We deliver buses from manufacturers CRRC and Yutong. The buses from CRRC are delivered as their own brand and are marketed under the brand YES?EU. We also sell vehicle chargers from the manufacturer ATC under our own brand.

YES-EU is the service partner of the battery manufacturer CATL in Europe, which means we provide service for many different installations in various environments. With constantly increasing activity, YES?EU has built up valuable expertise in electric vehicles, batteries, battery maintenance, and charging infrastructure in recent years. YES?EU currently operates several service workshops and has service and repair agreements in multiple locations.
