Markverkstad Skövde is a department within the FMTS unit, and we have about 180 employees. We primarily perform maintenance on the Swedish Armed Forces' ground equipment, as well as some work for the air force and navy. This includes maintenance in the form of inspections, renovations, repairs, new production, disassembly, and modifications. You will belong to the Detail Testing/Component Renovation.

Main Responsibilities

As a gearbox repair technician, you will primarily work with the renovation and inspection of the transmission for tanks and their components, supported by technical documentation. An important part of the job is to measure and read tolerances and assess wear.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Completed two- or three-year high school education with a focus on vehicles, workshops, or other equivalent education.
• Technical knowledge in mechanics
• Understanding of hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of measurement technology
• Driving license B

You are a technically interested person who has the ability to understand and learn new mechanical procedures. You have a systematic and meticulous work approach and work well both independently and in a team. You deliver results based on agreements.
