There is now an opportunity for you who want to teach at Erik Dahlbergsgymnasiet to become a part of us. You will teach students in mathematics in combination with physics or another subject and, through your curiosity and commitment, inspire good academic results. Together with us, you will create environments that promote students' learning and development and actively participate in the school's development work.

Furthermore, you will also be part of the school's whole and collaborate with students, guardians, teachers, school management, and other school staff. In addition, like other teachers at the school, you will have responsibilities including mentorship.

Erik Dahlbergsgymnasiet is the largest high school in Jönköping Municipality. Over 1500 students attend our school, spread across four college preparatory programs, two vocational programs, and two vocational introduction programs. We are about 160 staff members who all work to create the best conditions for the school's youth. Your Competence

We are looking for someone who has a teaching degree and teaching certification for high school in mathematics, in combination with physics or another subject. Furthermore, it is a great advantage if you have experience teaching at the high school level, but it is not a requirement.

As a person, you have a high degree of independence and initiative. In this recruitment, we will place great emphasis on collaboration skills, social competence, and personal suitability. We highly value your ability to engage and inspire, as well as your flexibility and capacity for development.

• Ensure that students have influence over their own learning
• Are knowledgeable in your subject and conduct structured and varied teaching.
• Use communicative Swedish in speech and writing

A large part of the communication with students and guardians takes place via Vklass, which is Jönköping Municipality's learning platform. For our internal communication, we mainly use MS Teams. We therefore assume that you are well acquainted with working in a learning platform and that you naturally use digital learning resources in your teaching.

Good to Know

Before hiring new employees for our teaching positions, we must ensure that there is a valid teaching certification. We therefore ask you to attach a current teaching certification obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education within the last two months.
