Hillerstorpsskolan is a F-9 school with approximately 200 students in grades F-6 and about 100 students in grades 7-9.

The teachers are divided into work teams. Ongoing collaboration exists between the different staff categories. Staff meet regularly for joint conferences for F-9. Thanks to the proximity to each other and shared staff rooms, there are good opportunities for conversations and contacts across old grade boundaries, as well as short decision-making paths and closeness between employees and management. An important resource for the operation is the student health team consisting of a counselor, principal, school nurse, special educator, and study and career counselor.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach mathematics and science subjects in grades 4-6. The work also includes daily administration and contact with students, guardians, student care staff, and colleagues. You will share the class leadership with a colleague.

We are looking for someone with a relational approach and clear leadership in the classroom. You have the student in focus and work with guidance and stimulation in the classroom to meet students at both group and individual levels. You are comfortable using compensatory aids in your work to meet students' needs, and digital tools are a natural part of your teaching. You are well-versed in grading and assessment.

You recognize that collaboration and consensus benefit student development. You also see that good collaboration with guardians is a strength when working for the best interests of the student.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree and teaching certification with qualifications to teach mathematics and science subjects in grades 4-6. We welcome applicants with previous teaching experience, but newly graduated teachers are also encouraged to apply.

We place great importance on social competence and the ability to meet students and collaborate with colleagues and other staff.
