About the job

We are looking for two café assistants who want to help make Café Mariagården an even better place for community and culinary experiences.

With us, you will work with everything from baking bread and cakes to preparing lunches and sandwiches. You will greet guests, serve food and drinks, and ensure that everyone feels welcome. One day you might prepare treats for the café's visitors, the next day you might set up for a memorial service or pack the food truck full of freshly baked goods and head out to an event. Regardless of the task, you are an important part of the team and contribute to creating a pleasant and inviting environment.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in cooking and baking and is passionate about providing good service. You have an eye for detail and are meticulous in your work. As a person, you are proactive and self-driven, while also enjoying collaborating and creating a pleasant atmosphere for both guests and colleagues. You are creative, structured, and able to solve problems when needed. Your social skills and commitment allow you to meet guests and colleagues with warmth and care.

Requirements:

• High school education in restaurant and food management, with a focus on bakery and pastry or kitchen and service.
• Driver's license

Meritorious:

• Experience working in a café, bakery, pastry shop, or cooking.
• Experience driving with a trailer.

You need to be a member of the Church of Sweden to qualify for this position.
