Your new job
As a 1st Social Worker, you will support social workers in their investigative work, assessments, and selection of interventions concerning children and youth aged 0-20.
We work to ensure that Signs of Safety permeates our operations. The work is conducted in a team with the unit manager and 1st Social Worker. In addition to supporting social workers, you will work on method development, onboarding new employees, and following up on the work within the framework of the unit's operational plan. You will stay updated on regulations, general advice from the National Board of Health and Welfare, changes in legislation, and its application. You will collaborate with the partners surrounding children and youth, both internally and externally.
Your qualifications
You should be a qualified Social Worker with several years of experience in the Social Services' authority work concerning children and youth. You have good knowledge of relevant legislation and expertise in the field. Familiarity with case management and documentation, as well as experience with the documentation system Combine and the Signs of Safety method, is required. Previous experience as a supervisor is an advantage.
In this role, you will prioritize the needs of the citizen and the child in your actions. As a person, you are analytical and have the ability to identify the core of a problem, suggest possible solutions, and see connections. You use your time effectively and work systematically, organized, and methodically, ensuring that tasks are completed and followed up. Furthermore, you easily adapt your working methods based on changing conditions and new information.
The position requires you to be independent, confident, and mature as a person and have a high ability to handle stress. You show respect and consideration for those we meet in our professional role and have an open and positive attitude.
The role requires good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.

Welcome to us! We offer you as an employee a 7-hour workday with work scheduled during daytime Monday to Friday, individual salary setting, and supervision. You will have close collaboration with the unit's other 1st social workers and the unit manager. Together, you form the unit's management group.
This recruitment is for a temporary position during parental leave, lasting 1.5 years, in units 4 and 5, starting in September. We use ongoing selection.

All your employment must be verifiable with certificates showing your position and the extent of your work. Even if you already work with us, you need to present diplomas and employment certificates for positions you have held outside the municipality. Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be prioritized.
