Your Responsibilities As an operational buyer at Saab, you will play a central role in ensuring that production always has the right materials and components to meet high demands for quality and delivery times. You will work in project form and collaborate with a dedicated team responsible for a number of suppliers within your segment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the operational purchasing work, order placement, and follow-up of deliveries in the business system IFS.
  • Build and develop long-term relationships with suppliers.
  • Ensure that purchases comply with the company's internal guidelines and policies.
  • Manage quotes and delivery monitoring.
  • Address deviations and handle problems that may arise in connection with deliveries.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient production.

Your Profile We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant education in purchasing, logistics, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in operational purchasing work, at least 2 years.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in purchasing administration in business systems.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Meritorious for the position:

  • Experience from the technical industry or another related field.
  • Knowledge of the IFS business system.

As an operational buyer at Saab, you need to be self-driven, responsible, and able to push your work forward. At the same time, it is important that you are a team player and enjoy collaborating closely with both colleagues and external suppliers.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification placement, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.

The position can be filled immediately or by agreement, and selection is ongoing.
