Jakobi specializes in nature conservation and environmental safeguarding of community building projects. We conduct permit assessments and EIA as well as nature value inventories and investigations for most types of projects. We guide our clients through planning and permitting processes and find smooth solutions.

Our operations currently consist of investigations for environmental permits (environmental coordination, EIA, 12:6 consultation, etc.), nature environment investigations, as well as reindeer husbandry analyses, CSRD/ESRS, and environmental reporting. Your main tasks

• Project leader
• Support and training of colleagues
• Field inventories (depending on competence)
• Investigation of effects and consequences of development projects in the planning phase of a nature conservation biological nature, propose protective measures.
• Write EIA focusing on nature environment and biodiversity, but other issues may also occur in smaller EIAs.
• Write reference sampling programs and control programs concerning nature environment and biodiversity, and if necessary, also carry out sampling
• Construction site monitoring (depending on competence)
• Sales (book and conduct presentation meetings and write offers/tenders)

The investigations may refer to impact assessments, species protection investigations, biodiversity plans, action plans, feasibility studies, and planning of nature inventories, ecosystem services, various types of certifications, and other types of investigations within nature conservation/biodiversity depending on your competence and experience. It is advantageous if you have experience in a similar role in a consulting company.

Your profile

As a person, you are flexible and communicative with good collaboration skills. You are structured and meticulous with an ability to prioritize. Working in a smaller company in a dynamic environment with varying tasks and many points of contact is something you enjoy and are motivated by. You have previously worked with relationship sales as a project leader.

You take your own initiatives and can see what needs to be done to improve and support the business.

We believe you have an education as a biologist with a focus on conservation biology, ranger, or equivalent.
