Jakobi specializes in nature conservation and environmental assurance for community building projects. We conduct permit assessments and EIA (Environmental Impact Assessments) as well as nature value inventories and investigations for most types of projects. We guide our clients through planning and permitting processes and find smooth solutions.

Senior EIA/Permit Consultant and Project Manager
We are looking for a senior EIA consultant or someone with several years of experience who wants to develop in this and related areas. We offer a pleasant working environment with knowledgeable and engaged colleagues, as well as good opportunities to influence and be involved in building the company.
Your main responsibilities
You will primarily work in the following areas:
- Investigation of effects and consequences of development projects in the planning phase and propose protective measures, and if interested, also in the construction phase as BPU environment
- Writing texts for consultation documents, environmental impact assessments, etc.
- Other tasks within our service offerings or related areas depending on competence and the investigation assignments that come in
- Project management, client meetings, and sales
- Knowledge transfer to younger employees
Your Profile
As a person, you are flexible and communicative with good collaboration skills. You are structured and meticulous with the ability to prioritize. Working in a smaller company in a dynamic environment with varied tasks and many points of contact is something you enjoy and are motivated by. You are good at writing reports in Swedish. You take initiative and can see what needs to be done to improve and support the business.
We believe you have an education as a biologist, environmental scientist, or civil engineer with an environmental focus and have several years of professional experience in environmental assessment and environmental permits.
We have our headquarters in Gothenburg and offices/colleagues in Luleå, Malå, Uppsala, Jönköping, and Kalmar. Our operations work well for remote work, but we prefer that you work close to one of our existing offices.
