About the processing in Kiruna
At Kiruna Malmförädling, ore from the mine is transformed into high-quality products. The process includes three main steps: screening, enrichment, and pelletizing. The department consists of eight sections, four of which focus on the main process and four serve as support sections in areas such as quality, technology and process development, material handling, and water and dams. Your role
As a maintenance technician focusing on property maintenance, you play a key role in ensuring that our industrial properties maintain high standards through planned and preventive maintenance. You drive improvement work, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and contribute to an efficient work process through planning and preparation.

Your main tasks:

• Establish, develop, and manage maintenance plans for properties.
• Act as an orderer and contact person towards contractors and control bodies.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, AFS, and other relevant regulations.
• Drive improvement and optimization work within property maintenance.
• Conduct ongoing inventories to identify maintenance needs.
• Manage fault reports and plan minor maintenance work.
• Create requests, register arrivals, and inspect completed jobs.
• Receive ordered materials and, if necessary, perform minor maintenance on buildings.

What you bring with you

• Are proactive and have the ability to plan and carry out maintenance measures before problems arise.
• Have experience in driving improvement work and a strong interest in optimizing work processes.
• Are confident in taking responsibility for coordinating and leading maintenance work and coordinating external actors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that the work is carried out as agreed.
• Are used to handling fault reports and planning actions with both short- and long-term sustainability in mind.
• Have good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with different professional groups.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through a solution-oriented and structured approach.

For this role, we see that you have experience in maintenance planning and property maintenance, preferably within industrial properties. It is advantageous if you have good knowledge of legal requirements, AFS, and other relevant regulations, as well as experience in purchasing, material handling, and basic planning. The position requires approved high school grades, a B driver's license, and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Knowledge of English is a plus.
