Sandviken Parish was formed in 2014 through a merger of the parishes of Sandviken and Årsunda-Österfärnebo, encompassing approximately 15,000 church members and around 60 employees.

Within the parish boundaries, there are good opportunities for meaningful leisure activities, including proximity to Högbo Bruk, Kungsberget ski resort, Storsjön, and Färnebofjärden National Park. There is also a wide range of culture, music, and sports available, at both amateur and elite levels. The parish includes both urban and rural areas.

COMMUNICATOR 100%

We are looking for someone who actively wants to drive and develop the operations in the parish together with us.

As our communicator, you will be the face of the parish. You enjoy and are stimulated by communicating in words and images and meeting people. You like to juggle many tasks and have a strong service background. A high social competence and curiosity about people are assets.

Responsibilities

You will drive and develop the flow of internal and external communication in the parish. Your tasks will include creating and publishing content on the intranet, external website, and social media. You will establish communication plans, coordinate and implement communication efforts, and perform follow-ups based on set goals.

Qualifications

You have good knowledge/training in InDesign and Photoshop and are experienced in working with layout (print, press, and web). Previous experience and knowledge of programs such as Aveny, KBOK, and Kyrksam are a merit. We expect you to have good experience in internal and external communication. You also have good skills in formulating yourself in speech and writing.

The position includes being the GDPR representative and IT support for the parish. A driver's license (B) is required.
