As a security guard at Avarn Security, you will work with our clients where the tasks vary depending on which client you serve. The primary task of the security guard is to prevent, deter, and complicate crime, vandalism, and accidents.

If you are more of a night owl, patrolling might suit you? A patrolling guard travels between clients during the night, working alone but belonging to a larger group where collaboration is important.

If you prefer to work during the day or perhaps do not have a driver's license, then the stationary work is a better fit for you. A stationary guard is at the same client throughout the entire shift, and service is a top priority. You often work together with a smaller group of colleagues and handle daily tasks such as access control, reception work, or camera surveillance.

Personal Qualities:

We are looking for security-conscious, social, empathetic, and positive individuals with inner security and a natural drive to help. Security guards work in many different environments with very varied tasks - we are looking for you who enjoy working with people and have a clear service-oriented commitment. We also prefer that you can communicate fluently in English.

We are looking for someone who can work at least eight weeks during the period from June to August. Now you have the opportunity to step into an exciting and growing industry.

If you have the right profile for Avarn and you progress in the process but do not already have the required training (VU1, VU2), we will cover your training! Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA, the Security Industry's Professional and Work Environment Committee. Participation in this is a prerequisite for employment.

Qualifications

In addition to the personal qualities we are looking for and describe, you need to meet basic requirements to qualify for the position:

• at least 18 years old before starting the assignment
• high school diploma
• good Swedish in speech and writing
• driver's license B

You also need to be unpunished*, drug-free, have an orderly economy, and good health and fitness to be employed at Avarn Security.

Security guard training is an advantage for these positions. Other advantageous qualifications include experience in the security industry, some technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments.
