We are now looking for a Fire Specialist who will be a part of our department at TPC. As a Fire Specialist, you will be involved in coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities, providing technical support for design, testing and commissioning, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and safety standards. We believe that you have knowledge and experience, capable of acting as a design authority, preparing comprehensive project documents, and interacting with customers and contractors. How you'll make an impact

  • To implement the standards and regulation into the fire system detection and protection design while considering HVDC's specific requirements
  • To design and prepare requirement specifications and related technical documents based on the customer specifications, standards and local regulations.
  • Coordinating all technical interfaces towards other domains from the beginning till the end of HVDC projects including testing and commissioning.
  • To be proactive in finding the future's obstructions and plan for depletion
  • To train and coach newcomers and customers
  • Working closely with colleagues and engineers across various disciplines, sharing technical knowledge and best practices cross border.
  • Attending project's regular meetings to get updates on the status and take actions required.
  • To propose a design in HVDC tenders and raising all clarifications and deviations required for the respected design to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • To support budgeting the tenders for fire detection and protection systems
  • Assessing the risks in the proposed design in tenders and take required actions accordingly.

Your Background

  • Having a fire engineering or any other related education
  • Knowledge in fire codes, standards, and safety regulation
  • Have experience in fire simulation and related requirements
  • Communicational skills
