Latest Opinion Poll from Indicator: Social Democrats Strengthen Their Position

The latest opinion poll from Indicator, published on June 29, 2025, shows that the Social Democrats continue to strengthen their position among Swedish voters. The party now has the support of 36.70% of voters, an increase from 36.00% in the previous report. This rise marks a continued positive trend for the party, which has also shown increased support in earlier surveys.

Moderates and Christian Democrats on the Rise

The Moderates have also seen an increase in their support, from 17.40% to 18.20%. This is in line with results from other institutes, where the party has remained stable or slightly increased. The Christian Democrats, who previously had a lower share, have now increased to 3.80% from 3.30%, which can be seen as a positive development for the party.

Weak Support for the Left Party and the Green Party

The Left Party and the Green Party, however, have seen a weaker development. The Left Party has slightly decreased to 7.30% from 7.70%, while the Green Party has also lost support and now stands at 5.30%, a decrease from 5.60%. These changes can be seen as part of a larger trend where smaller parties struggle to retain their voters.

Sweden Democrats Continue Their Decline

The Sweden Democrats continue to lose ground, now at 19.00%, down from 20.00% in the previous survey. This is part of a downward trend observed over the past few months, where the party has struggled to maintain its previously strong support.

A Deeper Look at Historical Trends

Looking back at previous data from other institutes, the Social Democrats have had a constant rise since the beginning of the year, which can be attributed to their successful campaigns and political initiatives. The Moderates have maintained a relatively stable level, but with a slight upward trend. The decline of the Sweden Democrats can be linked to increasing competition from other right-wing parties and internal challenges.

It is also worth noting that the Liberals' support has slightly increased to 2.80%, from 2.70%, which may indicate some recovery. The Center Party, on the other hand, has continued to lose support and now stands at 5.30%, a decrease from 5.80%.

In conclusion, the latest survey from Indicator shows that the Social Democrats and the Moderates are the big winners, while the Sweden Democrats and the smaller parties face challenges. With the political landscape changing, it is important to closely follow these trends ahead of upcoming elections.
