- Specialist Physician in Psychiatry – Neuropsychiatry (ADHD/Autism) | Remote & Stockholm
Are you looking for a position within neuropsychiatry where you can control your own working hours, work from home, or from our clinic in Stockholm?
As a specialist physician at Lumena, you help patients with ADHD and autism remotely, with medical handover for somatic checks via our national partners. In this way, you can reach individuals who might otherwise never have come into contact with specialist care. The employment is hourly-based, and you largely determine your own scope.
We place great emphasis on maintaining the highest quality of care throughout the entire patient journey. You will work with modern digital tools and have ample time for patient-facing work.
About Lumena
Lumena is a digital-physical neuropsychiatric care provider (digital when possible, physical when needed) focusing on ADHD and autism. All care provided by us fully complies with laws and the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines. We are convinced that digitalization and regulatory compliance can be combined without compromising quality, and we work every day to offer neuropsychiatric care of the highest quality.
In practice, we achieve this by combining quality-assured digital tools, a network of physical partners close to the patient, and specialists (like you) who meet the patient remotely. We take no shortcuts.

About the Role
In this role, you are responsible for the medical assessment within neuropsychiatric investigation and treatment. From patient interviews and diagnosis to potential medication treatment, feedback, and medical record keeping. You collaborate closely with a team of specialist physicians, specialist psychologists, and other healthcare staff, using modern electronic health record and video systems, and rely on established and standardized investigation routines developed by experienced psychiatrists and specialist psychologists.
Our medically responsible physician has over 14 years of experience as a specialist in psychiatry and 26 years as a licensed physician. He is also a specialist in emergency care, with experience as a chief physician at SöS (Stockholm South Hospital).
You decide for yourself whether you want to work remotely or from our clinic on Kungsholmen in Stockholm, and structure your work according to the scope agreed upon.
This position is an hourly employment with Lumena – not a consulting assignment – so you become part of the team, not a subcontractor.
We are looking for someone who
- is a specialist physician in psychiatry with at least 3 years of experience in the role
- has good experience in conducting neuropsychiatric investigations as well as basic psychiatric assessments
- enjoys working independently remotely and feels comfortable with personal responsibility
- is familiar with digital, asynchronous workflows and is curious about how AI can support clinical work
- works in a secure manner
- thrives in working closely with psychologists and other healthcare staff
- is very meticulous with medical record keeping and documentation
High digital proficiency is a big plus, but not a strict requirement. As long as you are open to learning new things, we will help you!
What we offer
- True freedom and flexibility: work mostly remotely, wherever you live in Sweden, with great control over your own time. You need to be able to travel to our clinic in Stockholm up to four times a year, but no more than that.
- A meaningful assignment: you help make ADHD and autism care accessible to more people, with queues and geography as fewer obstacles.
- Quality through compliance: everything we do follows the rules, and we take patient safety and documentation very seriously.
- Room to grow: we offer a long-term role where you have the opportunity to expand your assignment as the company grows.
Remote and Stockholm
You work primarily remotely in Sweden. To ensure we can meet in person if needed, you need to be able to be in Stockholm once a quarter, sometimes with as little as two weeks' notice. It is also fine to work more from our clinic on Kungsholmen if you prefer.
Application
We review applications on an ongoing basis, and start dates are agreed upon. We process your candidate information according to GDPR throughout the entire recruitment process.
We look forward to reading your application!
